Actions Selector

Use the Actions Selector to navigate the game tree: choose player actions, select board cards, and view game details, runtime, and exploitability

1. Introduction

The Actions Selector is the primary tool for navigating the game tree.

  • On desktops, it is fully expanded and located at the top of the application.
  • On mobile devices, it appears just above the Hand Matrix. It may be collapsed initially but can be expanded by tapping on it.

The Actions Selector consists of three main components:

  1. Game Details Component
  2. Player Actions Selector
  3. Board Card Selector

Some components may extend horizontally beyond the visible area. Use the arrows on the left and right to scroll through the content.

Actions Selector Overview

2. Game Details Component

The Game Details Component is the first section of the Actions Selector. Here you can view:

  • The current board being solved
  • Estimated runtime
  • Current exploitability
  • Buttons to start a new game, and to start or stop the solver

3. Player Actions Selector

The Player Actions Selector allows you to choose the actions for each player (OOP or IP).

  • At the top, it shows which player the actions belong to and their current stack size.
  • Below, you will see the available actions for that player. Selecting an action reveals the next component.

The Hand Matrix, Individual Hand Breakdowns, Range Comparisons, and Equity Chart will reflect the currently selected action. To activate a Player Action Selector, click any empty space or the top area of the selector.

Each Player Action Selector corresponds to a player action node in the game tree, and each action represents an edge connecting nodes.

If there are too many actions to display, scroll down to see additional options.

⚠️ Selecting an action that is not in the last Player Action Selector will reset the Player Action Selector and Board Card Selector.

4. Board Card Selector

The Board Card Selector is used to select turn and river cards for the current node.

  • When selecting a card, a card selector panel will display all available cards.
  • To change a selected card, click the Edit button below the selector, and the panel will reappear.
